Hebrews 7:25 for which reason also He is able to be saving completely and forever those who come to God through Him, being always alive for the purpose of continually making intercession for them. Prayer is communion with God. Prayer is friendship with God. A friend is someone we communicate with, there is no restrictions in our communication with our friend, because we are relaxed when communicating with them. We have common interests and there is always something we can talk about. It is the same with our heavenly Father, we are friends, we are Father and daughter/son, we never have to feel any restrictions when we are talking to our God. We can chat with Him about any subject. We can sit and complain to him and get advice from him at any time of the day or night. He gives us direction in life and he also gives us a warning of things to come so we are aware of the dangers in any area of our life. This friendship is made easy by the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives. He gave us the holy Spirit as our teacher and guide. The Holy Spirit teaches us to pray and he opens the door in our hearts to speak to our heavenly Father. Please take advantage of this privilege. This privilege is given to every believer and our Heavenly Father waits on us to call on him. Please invite him in, He is waiting on you. Jesus is our faithful high priest, he is seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us. What he is doing is preparing the way, talking on our behalf to the Father, so when we go to the Father, he has already been told about what we want to say so he is prepared and the answer is already given. Grace has already provided. Thank you, Jesus you are our Faithful prayer partner. CONFESSION/PRAYER Jesus is our faithful high priest, he is our faithful prayer partner. Prayer is my time with my heavenly Father. I cherish this privilege of having a friend that sticks closer than a brother. I am never lonely as I have someone to talk to every moment of everyday. In my weakness, he is made strong and when I need comfort, the Holy Spirit comforts me.

The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness. Prov 15v2 The working of God, through His spirit makes us people who are appealing because of our speech. We are trained to be wise and speak with discretion by the Holy Spirit. Gracious speech makes people listen when we speak. Wisdom from Jesus flows through us and as we yield to the Holy Spirit, this wisdom becomes a sought after gift in the market place. The wisdom of God in our lives, gives us discernment and as we walk this walk we learn when and how to speak. The anointing teaches us how to be a servant and when to speak with authority to silence the devil. We are gentle as lamb, however we are as wise as serpents, knowing when to speak and when not to speak. We speak with love when needed and we address devils and demons with authority when we need to. We are the servants of the Most High God, like Stephen in the book of acts, they were not able to withstand his speech as he spoke with the intelligence of the Holy Spirit. That same intelligence and wisdom is in you. Give the Holy Spirit a chance in your life, become a servant in training. You are a king and a priest, know when to be a priest and when to be the king. The priest is in his prime when he is praying and interceding. The king knows that his words have power and when he speaks, things are established. He decrees a thing and it is established. A king knows who he is. Know your place so you speak a word in season to him who is weary at the right time and the right place. You are blessed. CONFESSION/PRAYER I am anointed with power. I have the unction to function in every circumstance. The miraculous ability of God’s power works within me. I speak the good news to the poor, declaring freedom from poverty. I announce deliverance to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind. God has made me the voice of peace in the midst of the chaos in the market place.

For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the powerful coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. We saw his majestic splendor with our own eyes when he received honor and glory from God the Father. The voice from the majestic glory of God said to him, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” We ourselves heard that voice from heaven when we were with him on the holy mountain. 1Peter 2v16 Peter was an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ. He walked with Jesus physically on this earth. On the mountain with Jesus, they heard the voice of God. Even when they heard the voice of God, they were shocked and were so excited they wanted to remain on the mountain. What an experience. We too have the same right and privilege. We too can hear the voice of God, however we do not have to be on a mountain top or hear the voice in a loud thunderous voice. In our lives on a daily basis, we can hear the still small voice of God in our hearts. It is a calming still voice that we hear. We have to listen carefully or we will miss it. In your prayer time, he will speak to you through the word or a still small voice as you remain quiet in his presence. You will just know that God is talking to you. In the market place, in the middle of the day, in the midst of chaos or challenges, God speaks to you. Listen for his voice. There is peace when he speaks and a great calm will come over you. Listen. Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you how to listen. He gives you wisdom and discretion when you need it. He wraps favour around you like a shield. You will know this when people notice you in the market place and recognize your skill. God is at work in you, to show himself strong. Listen for his voice. CONFESSION/PRAYER I am God inside minded. I have complete understanding of the exceeding greatness of His power working on the inside of me. My first thought in all things, is to seek my Father’s counsel and He gives me all things that I desire. In every situation of my life, My Father’s words and Voice echo on the inside of me. It Is God himself, the God of Peace who satisfies me through and through.

I can do nothing on my own. I judge as God tells me. Therefore, my judgment is just, because I carry out the will of the one who sent me, not my own will. John 5v3 In his life on earth, Jesus said, that he could do nothing on his own. He could only do what the Father told him to do. The will of the father was his greatest desire and will and very important to him. In the same way, we too have to know that we should seek the Father’s will for our lives. Yes, there are many things we desire and want in this life. However, as we pray and ask the Father, we must know that it is His will that matters for our life. He knows what we have need of in our life. He has planned our life and orders our footsteps (we who are righteous) so he will only allow what is good for our lives each day. We get very upset and disappointed when we pray and do not get an answer. God knows what’s best for us. He will not give us what is not good for us. Sometimes, he even knows that we cannot handle what we are asking for. His will for us is perfect. We pray, we confess, we declare, we call forth and we call on the word of God for things in our life. We have to do all of this as it is part of our faith walk. Every good and perfect gift comes from our Father of life with whom there is no variableness or shadow of turning. Yet, we need to know that his will for our life is best. CONFESSION/PRAYER Father, we commit our way to you and you direct our path. We know that you want the best for us and you know everything about our lives. You are the Alpha and the Omega, so you know the end from the beginning. We rest in you and trust in you, knowing that you have perfect knowledge of what is best for our lives. Holy Spirit help us to wait as we are in expectation of a manifestation in our lives.

The Spirit of the LORD is upon me, for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim that captives will be released, that the blind will see, that the oppressed will be set free, and that the time of the LORD’s favor has come.” Luke 4v18 in the old testament, whenever someone was set apart for a special calling by God, they would take the anointing oil and pour it on the person, which signified that the person was now called by God to do a specific task. In the New Testament, this anointing is from within, it is the power of God that enters a man/woman who receives salvation. The person is then filled with the Holy Spirit and is now empowered by God to do the work of the ministry. It is an enablement from the power of God, the spirit of God working in you to do great and mighty things. This anointing brings favour and an ease on your life to do things super naturally. Each and every person who is born again carries the anointing, however to what degree you carry this anointing depends entirely up to you. Each person activates the anointing to a different level, to the level that you will allow God to work in you. Wisdom flows into your life by the anointing. Every day of your life you have to yield to the spirit of God and invite him into your day, allow him to work in you and consciously activate the power of God in you. When you do this, you will walk with favour with God and man. The ease of the anointing will flow, making you another man/woman. Allow this anointing to work in you today. CONFESSION/PRAYER The spirit of God lives inside of me and I am anointed by God to do great and mighty things. The anointing is the yoke destroying, burden removing power of God. The anointing on my life allows me to lay hands on the sick and they will recover. I am anointed to serve.

Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you, and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. Ezek 36v26 The holy Spirit comes into our lives to give us a change of heart. The above scripture tells us that it is God who gives us a new heart. In our own natural strength we are unable to have a change of heart, but by the power and strength of God he will renew our hearts. A heart to serve his people. A heart that receives the good news of the gospel and then goes out and shares it with others. This new heart is the heart of the father, a heart filled with love and kindness, faith and love, good ground for God to work to bring forth fruit that will last. A heart that sees beyond the natural eye, being able to see people as God sees them. The compassion of God flows out of this new heart. It is not a natural heart that, that was made of stone, calloused from the pain of disappointment and betrayal, no it is a heart of flesh recreated by God in this new creation man. Give the holy Spirit a chance to work on your heart today. Let him give you a heart of flesh that comes from our heavenly father that you will walk with his love and compassion by the power of the spirit of God. The desire of your heart changes when you allow him to work in you daily. CONFESSION/PRAYER Holy Spirit come and renew my heart and fill my heart with your compassion and love. I yield to you and the workings of God so I can become the man/woman you have called me to be. The pain of yesterday fills my old heart so I am in need of a touch from you to renew me so I have your desires and will in my life.

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Col. 3v15 The fruit of peace, is an incredible antidote to chaos and the drama of this world. Every one of us has the ability to create a storm just by our attitude or a wrong word at the wrong time. The enemy will try his very best to cause us to be annoyed or frustrated so we can gender strife. At this juncture, I would like to implore you, please do not give in to the desire to start a fight or speak words that will cause dissention and discord. Refuse to give in. Be a carrier and dispenser of peace. The peace of God surpasses all human understanding. If you have to walk into a room that is charged with anger and chaos, you be the calm the room needs. The presence of God in you will settle the atmosphere. You be still and know our God will diffuse the situation just by your presence in that place. When asked for your opinion in this situation, select your words carefully and ask the holy spirit to help you speak choice and graceful words at this time. Jesus said he came to give us his peace, not the peace the world gives. Today, be a promoter of peace. CONFESSION/PRAYER Thank you, Jesus, you have made me a peace maker. I am a carrier of your peace, my feet are shod with the gospel of peace. Jesus, you are my peace and everlasting security. The peace of God, which is beyond human understanding, guards my heart and mind in Jesus Christ.

You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesn’t confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me. You didn’t choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. This is my command: Love each other. John 15v14-17 We have been hand picked by the living God, we were made to be his family. He longs to have fellowship with us, as we would have fellowship with our own biological family or friends. As we grow in our prayer life, we grow in our knowledge of who God truly is to us. God is not far away, he is right here with us and loves to do things for us. His desire is for us to be one with him as Jesus was one with him. He longs to give you the best of what he has for you. As we mature in Christ, the holy Spirit reveals things to us so that we are able to live more effectively. He will reveal the traps of the enemy so you can avoid them and walk in victory. This intimate relationship with the father moves you from a servant to a friend. How wonderful is that. To know Jesus as a friend who confides in you. We are that special to the father. As you serve him with gladness, he unveils things to you as his friend. CONFESSION/PRAYER Holy Spirit I yield to you, teach me how to walk closely with the father, the son and the Holy Spirit. My life is an open book to you so reveal to me what needs to be revealed and remove from my life everything that you do not want me to have. Open the doors that need to be opened and close the doors that need to be closed. I present my day to you, show me the way to walk.

But he held his peace and answered nothing. Mark 14v61 Jesus was silent before his accusers. He had the power to call upon a legion of angels to come and help him, but he refused to do this. He was mission-minded. He knew the purpose for him coming and he knew that he had to fulfil the call God had given him. He understood that men could never help him nor did they understand his language, so to him what was the purpose of speaking? It would yield no results. They had already condemned him and this was all part of God’s plan to fulfill his mission to win the lost and bring them back to the family of God. Likewise, in your everyday life, there are situations and challenges. People may be talking about you or making false accusations against you. Do not respond. Commit the matter to God, he orders your every step. He knows your accusers and he is well able to defend you. He is your faithful high priests who is seated at the right hand of the father, making intercession for you. The holy Spirit lives on the inside of you and he is protecting you. No matter what man says or does, no weapon fashioned against you will proser. Be silent and await the salvation of the Lord. The outcome of your silence will surprise you and yield results you never anticipated. The season of accusation and chaos will result in your fame and promotion. CONFESSION/PRAYER Thank you, Father for all you do for me. Thank you, Jesus, I am learning each day how to stay silent in the midst of the chaos and accusations. You have perfect order even in the chaos so I am not afraid. I will wait on the Lord and he will renew my strength. I am an overcome in this life.

And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Romans 5v3-5 Wow! How wonderful is the holy Spirit. He is the third person of the Trinity. In case you do not understand, the trinity is the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit. God planned every aspect of our life way before we were born. Salvation was a part of his plan. He knew we could never survive this life without his help. He gave us a measure of faith so we could start building from weak faith to strong faith. He also gave us love, the holy Spirit put God’s love in our hearts because he knew love was not a part of our old man’s life. When I say old man, I just mean, the old me, before we were born again. So, the love of God had to be a foundation upon which we now build this God life. The love of God helps us each and every day to live the God kind of life. First, and foremost God sent the holy spirit to come and help us by living on the inside of us to instruct us in this way of life. He is not a tenant in our life, he is a resident, where we go, he goes, he is a very present help in the time of trouble or joy. This love is supernatural. It is not how a natural man loves. It is the power of God within us teaching us how to love. You will measure this love and begin to see how this love has changed you and the world around you. CONFESSION/PRAYER Holy Spirit stir this love in my heart so I am conscious of the lost and have a desire to win them to Christ. I put down the love of this world and ask you to help me take up the love of God daily so I am able to live this God life in faith and overcoming every obstacle.

Yet there were many Jewish leaders who believed in Jesus, but because they feared the Pharisees they kept it secret, so they wouldn’t be ostracized by the assembly of the Jews. For they loved the glory that men could give them rather than the glory that came from God!. John 12v42 We are so world conscious we fail to see what God has in store for us. The reward for serving far excess the frustration of greatness. When you have the applause of men, you have to keep performing so you maintain the status quo. Yet with God, he accepts us just the way we are, no pretending or performing needed. Oh, how we spend so much time on working on things that will bring us to a place where we receive recognition by men. The applause of men sounds wonderful in our ears, but this is not long lasting. Ask any famous person how long their fame lasts or what price they have to pay for this fame. Please do not fall victim to the cry of fame and greatness. In the eyes of God you are already great. You have giftings and callings that men would die for, yet you have not even explored them yet. God called you even before the foundations of the earth. He formed you in your mother’s womb. Greatness lies within you, the route to this greatness is different to the world’s system. There is a time and place that your greatness will attract the attention of men, however this is not what you work for. In the eyes of God you are his beloved son/daughter. You may not have actual physical security guards but you walk around with a host of angels protecting you. You have internal intelligence that the world can never compare with, because the Holy Spirit lives on the inside of you. You have wisdom from on high so you are prepared for every moment. You have strength and power greater than any army on the earth as you can speak the name of Jesus and everything will come to a standstill. You are never alone, because our Father says he will never leave you nor forsake you. You have a grandstand of fans, goodness and mercy follows you all the days of your life. you are famous in heaven. Serve gladly in silence and God who sees will reward you openly. CONFESSION/PRAYER I am an ambassador of Christ. I represent my heavenly father here on this earth. I am not my own. I belong to God, I am his beloved so everything about me has been recorded in heaven so I have been assigned angels to fulfill my portfolio here on earth. I am covered with his blood so I am protected from all harm and danger. I have an audience in heaven, that celebrates my life of salvation, they are all standing in the grandstands of heaven, cheering me on. I choose servanthood instead of greatness.

And Jesus cried out again with a loud [agonized] voice, and gave up His spirit [voluntarily, sovereignly dismissing and releasing His spirit from His body in submission to His Father’s plan]. And [at once] the veil [of the Holy of Holies] of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; the earth shook and the rocks were split apart. Matthew 27v50-51 What an example to live by. Yes, you may say this was Jesus, however, while he lived on the earth, even though he was the son of God, he lived like you and I, in a body and subject to everything we are subject to. The bible says he was obedient unto death and he learnt obedience through the things he suffered. If Jesus suffered, do you think we will just live a life of peace and freedom. No, we will endure many things but in submitting, we will enjoy the glory of our Father here on earth. No pain, no gain. The only reason we suffer so many things, is because our old way of life trained us in the world system. The Holy Spirit is now training us in the word/spirit system. It is painful but glorious. How will we reign in the heavenlies if our nature has never been changed. We have to submit our nature to God each and every day and ask him to help us get rid of this world’s way of thinking into God’s way of thinking to get God results. Submit and see the results. The Holy Spirit is waiting on us. CONFESSION/PRAYER Holy Spirit come and have your way in me. I submit to you each and every day. The areas I have not submitted to you, please be patient with me, I am yielding them to you to transform me into the person God has called me to be. The old life has gone, I am not a new creation in Christ Jesus.

But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also. Matthew 5v39 Hello, you mean I must accept the slap and then turn and give my other cheek also. You have got to be crazy, I will not be taken advantage of, nor will I be a doormat. Well, that is a justifiable response, considering our present world and the need for conforming to the right appearances before men. Yet that is not how Jesus works. We are called to be his servants. In this God life we have been called to serve. When serving we represent our master, Jesus Christ. We are his representative and also ambassadors for Christ. The secret to this life is, an ambassador when sent to another country, even though he is in another country, he is not subject to the laws of that country. He has diplomatic immunity. What does that mean. It means the law of that land is not what he lives by. He lives by the laws of his own country. He is not even subject to the economy of that country. We are citizens of heaven, we enjoy diplomatic immunity. We do not have to be subject to the economy of this world. No we are sowers of into the kingdom of God so we reap the benefits of overflow and abundance because that economy never fails. Our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills and all the silver and gold are his. So as his sons and daughters we live in the abundance and we suffer no lack, we live in a no lack zone. Now do you understand why you are asked to turn the other cheek. It is merely yielding to the holy spirit to change your character, into the character of God. you are now transformed into Christ-likeness which benefits you to enjoy the goodness of God. when you know him and his presence, nothing in this world can stop you. You do not suffer wrong when you give in to God, you are promoted to great and mighty things. CONFESSION/PRAYER Holy Spirit I yield to you so you can make me more and more like Jesus. Jesus lived on earth, yet he enjoyed the benefits of heaven. He said he could call down a host of angels to help him at any time, yet he chose to suffer. We stand in his stead and we have the name of Jesus, we have the blood and we have the word of God to overcome any situation in this life. Turning the other cheek is not a loss to me but a gain for the kingdom of God.
