Actions Speak Louder Than Words
Hebrews 11 Faith Series #2 • September 15, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
A reputation takes time to build and is more than mere words – it is corresponding action. Whatever reputation we build will outlive us. A reputation for being a man or woman of faith is built upon faith-filled action and is both sought after and highly rewarded by God.
Ancestral Faith in a Modern World
Hebrews 11 Faith Series #1 • September 8, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
Everyone needs the supernatural. But the supernatural can only be engaged by faith. In order to understand faith properly, we need to take a look at the beginnings. In our increasingly progressive landscape, foundations of faith are more important than ever. We can't finish a race well we never started right.

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait
August 25, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
Our culture suffers from impatience and wants instant gratification. Even believers want to be blessed now on their schedule … not God’s. If we want to be blessed, we need to hold on to the promise and let go of the timeline. God knows what time it is.
What to Do If Your Influencers Have Issues
August 11, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
We are all influenced by someone. Fortunately, we can choose who our influencers are. But what do you do if you find out the influencers you have chosen have issues? This is important to talk about because we are required to have influencers in our lives, and they are all imperfect in one way or another. The scriptures give us practical insights to guide us to becoming better at allowing the right imperfect selective influences to help us mature as believers. That grumpy granny may be key to your spiritual growth.
Breaking the Poverty Spirit
August 4, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
Poverty and lack are from the devil while provision and abundance are from God. (John 10:10) This is deeply established in the Bible and to believe otherwise is unscriptural. That is why it is important to break poverty mindsets that have kept believers in bondage for too long through generational curses, unredeemed attitudes and thought processes and even false teaching from the pulpit based on false humility. We declare war against poverty strongholds in our lives, our families, our church and our community!
His Purpose: Our First Love
July 28, 2019 • Rev. Tolbert Livingston
Satan is always in attack mode shooting fiery darts at the body of believers called the church. Our strength is found in unity with one another and our connection to the purposes and plans of Christ. To overcome Satan's attacks, we must consider some adjustments in our attitudes to set us up for overwhelming triumph.

July 21, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
Jesus Christ has a plan for our lives that is rich and fulfilling. It may not be exactly what we envisioned and we may have foretastes of it while largely trusting God for the rest. It is possible to have healthy dreams and goals while remaining pliable in the Master’s hands.
Overcoming Anticipatory Anxiety
July 14, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
Anticipatory anxiety is a fear of upcoming events. Many people suffer from this and it affects their jobs, education and relationships. Secular therapists often offer little more than coping mechanisms. The teaching of Jesus Christ offers a solution.
Freedom from Fear
July 7, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
The American Psychological Association determined in 2015 that anxiety was the number one mental disorder. The Bible promises an abundant life for the believer. In this message we'll discuss the pathway from fear and anxiety to freedom and the abundant life of God.
Personal Sin and the Believer
June 30, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
The disciple of Jesus Christ is no longer called a sinner but righteous. It’s a new identity that, if embraced, releases you from the power of sin. It is extremely self-defeating to embrace a sinful identity. Embracing a sin-identity instead of dealing properly with sin will cause decay, decline and death to have a foothold that is not proper or necessary for the believer.
Walking in God's Light
June 23, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
The devil wants you to base your understanding of life upon worldly philosophies and precepts that are trendy, culturally acceptable and politically correct. This leads to moral and spiritual decline and ultimately separation from God. Jesus Christ wants us to base truth upon the unchanging Word of God that leads to life – abundant and eternal.
Discipleship Made Simple
June 16, 2019 • Mike Stubbs
Starting from the promise to meet the disciples in Galilee, to delivering the Great Commission, we have been examining our general mission as believers, and introspectively as a local church. Today we will get even more personal by examining discipleship, defining it, and considering life changes necessary to be one.
How Are We Doing on Our Assignment?
Reflection is a good thing when it is focused on the right things. It helps us assess where we are at right now and re-calibrate if necessary. I want to take some time to discuss what we have accomplished at Victory Fellowship in light of the instructions Jesus Christ gave his and all future disciples of His. In doing so, we can rejoice over what has been accomplished for the kingdom and lock arms in agreement for future fruitfulness.
