We live in a broken world that God made perfect originally but humanity damaged. The damage was caused by sin, and it continues to be the source of all problems, pain, and suffering today. God had a plan from the start to save us from our sin by providing a perfect sacrifice that would not just over our wrongdoings but would wash them away completely away and give us new life.
