Fathers Day Series: Teach These Things

Transcript: Fathers hold the key to our families and nation. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and another Stand in the Gap Minute. In Deut. Chap. 6, God told fathers to teach our children 5 things. We must lead our children to Faith in the LORD, because He is the only God. We must lead our children to a Fervor for the Lord by loving Him with all their heart, soul, and mind. We must lead our children to Fear the LORD because that’s the beginning of knowledge and wisdom. We must lead our children to a Familiarity of the LORD by learning of Him daily and diligently. And, then when God blesses – as He will, we must lead our children not to Forget the LORD and what He’s done. If we fathers would teach our children these things, our homes would be healed, families restored, and nation united. Transcript: Liberty as identified in our Declaration hinges on God and understanding Him. We are endowed by our Creator… you see, Independence and liberty starts with spiritual freedom which comes from God our Creator and experienced personally as spiritual freedom in Christ. This God is Supreme, the same Judge of the Universe appealed to in the Declaration. This God is Truth, sovereign, pre-existent, greater than all people and governments. In true civil freedom, God must first be acknowledged as supreme and source of all moral truth. Our founders recognized and started with this fact. Doesn’t America in repentance need to do the same with God as Creator, Sovereign and Judge? Liberty Series: Starts with Spiritual Freedom

Transcript: This week we celebrate Independence Day and the courage of our founders. But independence from what to what? The signers knew, but most Americans sadly don’t. It’s time to reexamine the foundation of liberty and the source of rights that made America great. Hello, I’m Sam Rohrer with the American pastor’s network and a timely Stand in the Gap Minute. Liberty can’t be understood without the Bible since civil freedom starts with understanding spiritual freedom. John 8:32 says, and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. Without experiencing this spiritual freedom from the power of sin that only faith in Christ can bring, no nation can ever experience lasting civil freedom. The Liberty Bell in Philadelphia says it all from Lev. 25:10 , proclaim liberty – the liberty that comes from obeying God’s commands -throughout all the land and to all the inhabitants therefore. God's Warnings Series: Repent Now

Transcript: God warns and then He delivers. In Isaiah Chapter 5, the Prophet Isaiah proclaimed judgment on the Jerusalem of his day. His message was one of final judgment. No more warnings. No more time. Could his words be the final words of judgment on America? Hello I’m Sam Rohrer with the American Pastors Network and another Stand in the Gap Minute. In verse 24, God said, I’ll destroy your nation because you’ve rejected my commands, and despised My holy name. Therefore, My fearsome anger will come against you. I’ve warned and pleaded with you, but you’ve ignored my voice. In that day, Israel deserved God’s judgment – their sin was great. Their time was up. Shouldn’t we in America look in the mirror and consider our sins in light of Israel then? Idolatry; murder of the unborn; materialism; apathy; moral relativism; addictions of all types; bribery, corruption and arrogant indifference.
