Transcript: In Ephesians 6:16, the Apostle Paul says that above all, to stand against the Devil’s schemes, we must pick up and use the shield of Faith. This Faith shield is perhaps the most important piece of defensive armor against the fiery darts of the Wicked One because it’s versatile, mobile, and capable of protecting the entire body. Protection from the fiery darts – those temptations from the Devil, the enticements to the sins of blasphemous thoughts, unbelief, the sudden urging to do wrong or entertain sinful thoughts is what only true Faith can protect against.
