MINISTRY MOMENT

The closer we get in our relationship with Jesus, the more the enemy may try to attack us with his lies. He wants you to believe that you are not enough and that you are not worthy or loved. In order to overcome the enemy’s lies it is important to put on the full armor of God every day. Stay strong in faith and know that you are chosen, you are loved, and you are enough!

PRAYER POINT

“Heavenly Father, thank You for always being with me, especially when I feel overwhelmed by the enemy’s lies. Remind me of who I am in You. Help me to put on the full armor of God each day so I can stand firm in Your truth. I’m so thankful for Your peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER

Read and study 1 Peter 5: 8-9, John 10:10, John 16:33, and Ephesians 6:10-18.

WALK IT OUT

Every day, pray and equip yourself with the full armor of God. Memorize scripture that you can speak out loud against the enemy’s lies. Worship and praise God. Not only is this a powerful weapon against the enemy, but it also refocuses you on God’s greatness rather than your struggles.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

Encourage others who may be feeling attacked by the enemy. Share your testimony, and speak God’s truth into their lives. Teach them how to put on God’s armor daily to protect themselves from the attacks of the enemy. Remind them that they are loved, chosen, and equipped!

Ep. 424 - Waiting to Open the Gift

MINISTRY MOMENT Have you found it difficult in the past to wait for something patiently? Are you in a season right now where you are struggling to wait for a gift, dream, or promise? PRAYER POINT "Father, thank You that YOU have an amazing plan and purpose for my life. I recognize that You are the one and only perfect gift-giver. You give us blessings in Your perfect time and way. Help me to trust You and wait patiently. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!" GOING DEEPER Read and study Matthew 7:11, Hebrews 11:6, and Romans 8:25. WALK IT OUT The truth is that we won’t have to wait long for new opportunities that will help stretch our patience. The next time you find yourself struggling to wait patiently, bring those burdens to the Lord in prayer and worship. SHARE WITH OTHERS As much as we each struggle with patience at times, we can know that our friends and family will also struggle in this area. Look for ways to encourage those around you with the Biblical approach to waiting patiently.

MINISTRY MOMENT Do I fully believe that my life is a gift and offering that God both desires and deserves? If you feel inferior, insignificant, or unworthy, be reminded that Jesus came at Christmas to live the life that would be given for YOU. PRAYER POINT "Father, thank You for the gift of Jesus. Thank You for the gift of life and new life in Christ. Thank You for the grace to give myself more fully to God’s plans and purposes for my life. You are worthy of all I am and all I have. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen." GOING DEEPER Read and study Romans Chapter 6. WALK IT OUT Decide or rededicate yourself today to give your life to the Lord, not just as a one time salvation decision, but as an ongoing way to give back to God for all He has given you through Christ. SHARE WITH OTHERS Consider encouraging someone that the God of the whole universe eagerly desires a personal relationship with them. MINISTRY MOMENT Do you often lose appreciation for gifts that you have had for a long time? How can you begin to show thankfulness to God for what He has given you? PRAYER POINT "Father, we thank You that we are able to have eternal life in Heaven! You truly are a good Father! We ask that You expand our appreciation for all the good things You have done for us!
