Are you in a season of obstacles? Take special time to bring these issues before the Lord with prayer and worship. What is He speaking to you through this season?

PRAYER POINT

“Father, thank You that You are our good and perfect Father, and that You have good plans for us. Help me see and hear what you might be speaking to me during a difficult season. By Your love and grace, confirm what Your will is for my life. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!”

GOING DEEPER

Read and study Hebrews 13:20-21 and Jeremiah 29:11.

WALK IT OUT

If you are walking through a tough season, be honest with yourself and seek the Lord — is He speaking to you through the obstacles? Are there ways you need to get back on the right path? Could it be a spiritual attack? Is it simply a hard natural event that you have to walk through by God’s strength and grace? Seek the Lord through prayer and worship and hear what He is speaking.

SHARE WITH OTHERS

If you see a close friend or family member struggling in these areas, remind them and encourage them with these Biblical truths. It’s good for all of us to be reminded that we can bring our obstacles and problems to the Lord. He is for us and not against us!

MINISTRY MOMENT Have you found it difficult in the past to wait for something patiently? Are you in a season right now where you are struggling to wait for a gift, dream, or promise? PRAYER POINT "Father, thank You that YOU have an amazing plan and purpose for my life. I recognize that You are the one and only perfect gift-giver. You give us blessings in Your perfect time and way. Help me to trust You and wait patiently. In the name of Jesus, I pray, Amen!" GOING DEEPER Read and study Matthew 7:11, Hebrews 11:6, and Romans 8:25. WALK IT OUT The truth is that we won’t have to wait long for new opportunities that will help stretch our patience. The next time you find yourself struggling to wait patiently, bring those burdens to the Lord in prayer and worship. SHARE WITH OTHERS As much as we each struggle with patience at times, we can know that our friends and family will also struggle in this area. Look for ways to encourage those around you with the Biblical approach to waiting patiently.

If you feel inferior, insignificant, or unworthy, be reminded that Jesus came at Christmas to live the life that would be given for YOU. PRAYER POINT "Father, thank You for the gift of Jesus. Thank You for the gift of life and new life in Christ. Thank You for the grace to give myself more fully to God’s plans and purposes for my life. You are worthy of all I am and all I have. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen." GOING DEEPER Read and study Romans Chapter 6. WALK IT OUT Decide or rededicate yourself today to give your life to the Lord, not just as a one time salvation decision, but as an ongoing way to give back to God for all He has given you through Christ. SHARE WITH OTHERS Consider encouraging someone that the God of the whole universe eagerly desires a personal relationship with them.
