Understanding Scripture’s Warnings & Promises

“The one who endures to the end will be saved.” Jesus used this refrain to describe the Christian life, but we aren’t sure what to do with it. Is it comforting or convicting? Similarly, how should Christians understand the threats, warnings, and even the reassuring promises we find in Scripture? Unfortunately, we who are tender hearted often understand these words as censure while we who are complacent fail to appreciate the challenge Jesus poses. Join us on Sunday for worship on the lawn and together we’ll seek to grow in our discipleship to Jesus. Our in-person worship service is outdoors on the lawn at Temple Bat Yahm at 10:00AM.
