Joshua Chapter 1 Part 1

At times of our life, we go through a transition, there are new things that we're called to experience and new things that we're called to do, if we're going to be in God's will. And this is true for the one whose book bears his name, and I'm speaking about Yehosha, that is Joshua the son of Nun. Now we're gonna see that that God has used him as a servant, a servant to Moses, but things have changed. Why is that? Well take out your Bible and look with me to that portion of Scripture, the book of Joshua in chapter one.

Joshua Chapter 1 Part 2

God does indeed want to lead you in his pathways, his paths are directions for us to find his very goodness, and with the good things of God comes also his presence, being intimate, being together with him. So ask yourself a question. What are you pursuing? are you pursuing the things of this world? Not that all the things of this world are bad? We know that we have need there's a necessity for certain things. But are we focused upon the things of this world? Or are we truly pursuing God, experiencing Him, knowing him, and being in his presence, walking in obedience, doing his will, and again, bringing glory and honor and praise unto him, this is where joy is found

Joshua Chapter 2 Part 1

Are you taking hold of the things of God or are you inheriting? Is God His purpose, His plans for you? Are you taking hold of them, experiencing them moving along God's purposes for why he saved you why you are still here in this world. We're going to begin a new chapter tonight in our study of the book of Joshua, the book of Joshua. And we're going to see how God moves in the life of the people in order to convey revelation, and how so frequently, the majority of individuals reject the revelation of God.

The Word of God ought to move in your life to produce a change, a kingdom type change. And that change begins with what's known as Grace. In the Hebrew, that word ‘’hesed’’. And God's grace brings about change so that your life can be a recipient of God's will. Now not just receiving His promises His blessings, but having demonstrated His will, having done those things, that you will be a recipient of the rewards the recompense of God. And that's a wonderful thing, to carry out God's purposes, and be a recipient of God's promises.

Joshua Chapter 3

God is a God, that gives us change, that we go through periods of transition. And as we submit to His instruction, we're going to be moving closer and closer to where he would have us to be, so that we can do the things that he would have us to do. And as always, we have to ask ourselves a question. And that is, do I really want to be in God's will? And do I really want to do the things that are related to his purposes? If we're sincere when we say yes, we do, then God's going to move in our life.

Joshua Chapter 4 Part 1

The Hebrew word to remember, is a significant one. I've shared with you many times that that phrase to remember usually is in a context that relates to the covenant. And when God remembers his covenant with His people, God moves in a restoring way, God achieves those things that bring about a change in our life. And we need to know that there are times that we too need to remember the faithfulness of God, we need to remember it and we need to share it with others, and especially with that next generation.

Joshua Chapter 4 Part 2

God is a great God who does great things for his people. And the foundation for experiencing greatness from God is obedience, salvation. This regeneration by means of faith is wonderful. But it only positions us where in this world we can take hold the victory. But we take hold of victory by submissiveness by obedience by trusting and walking in faith, not allowing what we see with their eyes to to deter us from the commandments of God, where he would have us to be and what he would have us to do.

Joshua Chapter 5

The children of Israel is in the midst of transition. And God has provided to them a leader, a humble leader, a committed leader, one who is submissive to the instructions of God. And if we look at this passage, and by the way, we're going to be studying from separate Yahshua, the book of Joshua and chapter five. And in my impression, when you study this, we're going to learn many useful principles, principles that are derived from the scripture that is going to equip us and give us a very different perspective.

Joshua Chapter 6 Part 1

God wants His people to experience victory. And God is able to grant us victory over all things. But just because God wants us to experience victory, that he's able to grant us that victory. If we do not submit to God's order. Let me say it another way. If we do not submit to God's instructions, we won't experience that victory. It is only through submissiveness to the instructions of God, that we can take hold of the victory of God.

Joshua Chapter 6 Part 2

There is timing when it comes to serving God. We need to be individuals that live according to His schedule, that we do the things not only that he wants done, but we do them when he wants them done. In other words, that we're totally submissive to the things of God, that we understand that to serve Him, we need to be listening, because God at any moment might reveal to us something new, something that we did not know something that may surprise us.

Joshua Chapter 7 Part 1

Baruch Korman • Joshua 7:1–12

God wants to give victory to his people, he is able to do so but be aware of something. When we violate the Word of God, when we transgress When we rebel. In other words, when there is sin in our life, that sin is going to affect us adversely. It is going to have a negative outcome in our our daily existence. When there sin in our life, we are not going to experience the power, the anointing and the victory that God wants us to have.

Joshua Chapter 7 Part 2

Baruch Korman • Joshua 7:13–26

We are called to be people who are spiritually sensitive that we understand our spiritual predicament. And that is that we need to deal with sin in our life. The failure to do so has disastrous results. Now, in one sense, we deal with sin through the gospel. But primarily, I'm speaking to believers. And I'm not speaking about dealing with sin, as a way of finding salvation and mercy and forgiveness and having reconciliation with God.

Joshua Chapter 8 Part 1

Baruch Korman • Joshua 8:1–17

God is indeed a God of renewal. He will bring about in us a newness after we have confessed our sins. And after we have done what is necessary, that the sin would be dealt with. Now we need to see this on two levels. There's what God's sacrifice does in our behalf, that that sin is is redeemed no more. But that is from a perspective that relates to our relationship with God.

Joshua Chapter 8 Part 2

Baruch Korman • Joshua 8:18–35

We need to develop a plan for victory. Now our plan of victory is a plan of defeat for the enemy. And we have been studying the leadership of Joshua, he is a faithful man. But the people they have not been all that faithful. There has been one in particular that has disobeyed that has transgressed and that one sin has brought defeat and shame upon the children of Israel. And has has been a bad testimony for the name of God. But as we've said, God is a God of renewal. God is a God of restoration.

Joshua Chapter 9 Part 1

Baruch Korman • Joshua 9:1–15

Are you making the right decisions? Are you sensitive when something is presented to you that you need to make such a decision? Are you quick to pray? Or do you look at it from a natural perspective, we're going to see that Joshua and the children of Israel, the very leaders of God's people, they were presented with a situation. They didn't pray about it. They looked at things in the natural. And because they focus upon what they saw. They made a wrong decision. The things in the natural tends to hide the spiritual reality.
