This week, as we are finishing up our sermon series on the book of Romans, we see the perfect completion of Paul's "Good News of the Gospel" that brings full circle how we saw the book of Romans first introduced. As we have journeyed through this book, we first read of the power of God, and then, Paul goes through and outlines the following throughout the book: the wrath of God, the grace of God, then plan of God, and the will of God. Here, we are in the last chapter of Romans 16, where we are again reminded that above all, we are put our trust in the power of God. We are challenged to be connected to the family of God, surrounding ourselves with those who can keep us accountable, and we are to feed our lives with life-giving relationships, always pointing people to Christ.
Most importantly, we are to radically trust God to finish what He's done. Your hope is not in your efforts or having it all figured out or doing it in your own strength. Your hope is to radically trust in God and in Him alone.
