Even the church can get messy. The early church in the important city of Corinth made a lot of messes. But Paul, the founder of that church, writes letters and visits them to straighten them out time after time.

Paul refuses to compete with them and states that his credentials are the Corinthian Christians themselves, the church that he founded. People are our greatest achievements.

And then, in turn, mostly-sorted-out believers can bring God's order and grace to our close relationships and the larger communities we share. This is a challenge to focus on me before I focus on the problems of "them."
