Many of us have an "ego wall" upon which we display our credentials: diplomas, awards, certificates, and achievements. Paul's opponents are very proud of their letters of commendation. Paul refuses to compete with them and states that his credentials are the Corinthian Christians themselves, the church that he founded. People are our greatest achievements.
