Because of the depth of God’s character, He has various names that reflect the many ways He relates to us today. He has a name for every situation we find ourselves in. We need to learn these names because the better we know them the better we will know His character in our time of need. When we feel forgotten by God, He is still JEHOVAH EL ROI—the God who sees. When we fill ill-equipped, He is JEHOVAH EL SHADDAI —the God who is sufficient.
In this sermon series, Pastor Ronald H. Gann dissects the more popular names of God in the Old Testament, and shows how God's nature and attributes are defined by the titles ascribed to Him.
