Two guys (Cleopas & Luke) leaving Jerusalem going to “Emmaus” (i-may-us) and were returning home after the Passover Celebration which recognized the love & deliverance of God and pointed them toward the Messiah – Jesus. Their expectation was political and not spiritual because they misunderstood how God was working. Maybe that's a wrestle for you too... you don’t understand how God is working in your life right now. God doesn’t always relieve the pressure, frustration, & failure and WE may even get disillusioned with His ways – FINE! But we must recognize that His support & His presence will never leave us

A Heathy Team

2 Timothy was written by Paul in a jail cell in Rome and was sent to Timothy to help him lead the church. Because his tendency was to be timid when opposition hit. So he encourages him to be strong and to raise up faithful men who can add to the ministry team. Paul then gives three examples to illustrate how Timothy and the church were to move forward in the last days.

Psalm 46 has been a go-to Psalm for me because God has used it over-and-over in my life! Specifically v.10. There’s some questions about who wrote this Psalm. Some say it came from David & his battles in 2 Samuel. Others attach the setting to King Hezekiah and God’s intervention against Sennacherib. No matter who wrote it, we have a special Psalm of help that God has preserved for us in His word.

Thru His Death Comes Life For Me

On Good Friday we look back to a specific time frame in Jesus’ life on earth. We recall what took place between 12:00 noon & 3:00 pm when total darkness cover the earth! My daily security lies in the work Jesus did on the cross. So, today I want to remind you about the Implications of the Cross and the church celebrates Good Friday by recalling these powerful truths.
