Steve Gibson

Serving as the Lead Pastor, it is a joy to work alongside the elders, helping to ensure that all programs and efforts here at Wellspring support the overall vision of making disciples of Jesus Christ. My primary duties are preaching and teaching God's Word and being available to the congregation as their pastor.

Scott Glisson

As Associate Pastor, I have the joy and the privilege of helping families connect to Jesus Christ and the mission He would call them to. I believe that we best make disciples of Jesus by modeling what a life with Jesus looks like: rooting everything we do in the Good News of the Gospel throughout the Bible.

John Klumpp

I have the joy and the privilege of helping to make and mobilize disciples of Jesus Christ here at Wellspring. In all that we do, we want to be making disciples who are making disciples. To accomplish this, I help train and equip our leaders as they lead life groups, women's groups, or men's groups. Michael Swindell

My role as the Executive Pastor here at Wellspring involves overseeing operations, facilities, staffing (including HR), and finances. At the same time, I get the privilege of overseeing our “external vision” as a church, including how we go about making and maturing disciples outside of our four walls here in Hudsonville. Specifically, I lead our REACH Board (outreach to Grand Valley) and our Missions Team.

Rachel Bale

As Executive Assistant, I have the joy of assisting our Executive Pastor in his day to day responsibilities - helping ensure the church functions smoothly, taking care of communication and administrative needs, and planning and organizing ministry processes/events, all ultimately for the purpose of glorifying God and seeing more disciples of Christ raised up!

Kaase Boer

As the Director of Care and Counseling, I have the privilege of walking alongside our members in need of support, and get to help our team learn and grow in our ability to care well by following in the footsteps of our loving Savior! I am grateful to also be able to serve the students and families of Wellspring, providing a setting where we can seek to know Jesus and learn how to grow together as a community. Join us as we discover together the hope and joy found in the presence of our Wonderful Counselor and Prince of Peace! NOTE: Kaase is currently serving as the 7th/8th Grade Ministry Resident until 2025.

Jake Boerman

As Director of Family ministries it is my goal and desire to equip and support families to follow Jesus faithfully in every season! We know that each family is different and each season brings its own unique joys and challenges. Regardless of where you and your family are at - know that we are here for you! 

Cheyenne Boluyt

I get the joy of serving as the Director of Women's Ministry at Wellspring. The heartbeat of this ministry is providing space for women to connect with intention, authenticity and purpose around the Word of God. My job includes facilitating Bible studies, events, and mobilizing the ministry to make disciples of Jesus Christ. God has called me here with a passion to see women fall deeper in love with Him through a right understanding of who He is as He has revealed himself in His Word. Jackie DeHaan

Serving as Operations Assistant Admin, my job is to help schedule and maintain the church facility. God has called me to empower others by serving alongside them and to provide assistance to help them fulfill God's calling in their lives and bring Glory to Him.

Jodi DeRoo

It is with great joy that I am able to serve as Administrative Assistant to our Discipleship Pastor. I look forward to working toward a common goal of seeing people get connected to Jesus, and grow deep in their faith as they walk with the Lord. I am excited to see how God continues to work at Wellspring, for His Kingdom and His glory, and I am blessed to be a part of it.

Vickie DeSmith

I am overjoyed to be working as an administrative assistant at Wellspring. God’s complete orchestration of bringing me on as a staff member at Wellspring is a true gift and blessing. My goal is to assist staff and the Wellspring Family in doing God’s work to make disciples of Jesus Christ and furthering His kingdom.

Austin Eichhorst

It is such a gift to serve our fifth and sixth graders here at Wellspring! My heart is to see students fall in love with scripture, to equip them with the tools to study and understand God’s Word and become passionate disciples of Jesus.

My job is to steward the messaging for Wellspring Church, internally to the staff, to the congregation and to the rest of the community outside of our walls. This includes email, or mobile app, social media, graphic design, the website and more. God has called me to focus on making disciples by communicating and connecting people to the information they need to grow deeper in their walk with Jesus.
