As the New Year begins, it is time to reflect on where we have been and where we are going. The ancient battle between light and darkness is not just a story, but a reality that demands a choice. Discover the freedom found in belonging to the Kingdom of Light, where identity is based on being chosen by God rather than worldly performance. Jesus invites everyone to claim their status as chosen royalty and join Him in His work.

Faithwork Assignment: Take time to reflect on the truth that you are chosen royalty, not because of what you achieve, but because God has selected you for His family. Consider the areas of your life where you might be letting other rulers like approval, control, or fear sit on the throne of your heart. Meditate on the sacrifice Jesus made by trading a crown of gold for a crown of thorns, and ask Him to show you how to actively participate in the battle for light.
