Welcome to SLAM Online!
This is a new series called "Transformed!" It is all about people who met Jesus face-to-face and walked away transformed!
Jesus was a miracle worker. He began his earthly ministry by performing His first miracle of turning water into wine. From that point on, Jesus established Himself as someone with supernatural power beyond that of mortal human beings.
Jesus didn’t stop performing miracles when His earthly ministry ended. No way! He continues to perform miracles today. In fact, He wants to perform miracles both in and through each one of us. All we have to do is trust and believe.
Believing is the hardest part. Some- times it seems that there is just no way a miracle can happen because we believe it is “too late.” In this lesson, the children are going to learn through the story of Lazarus being raised that it is never too late for Jesus. Even when it seems all hope is lost, Jesus can show up and perform a miracle!
Living Water

Welcome to SLAM Online!
Our bodies need water to survive. You can drink some water, but then – only a little while later – you’ll be thirsty again. Your body just can’t go very long without you getting that thirsty feeling.
Our souls are like that, too. There’s a feeling that we get in our soul that’s a lot like being thirsty. It’s not thirst for liquid. It’s a thirst for meaning...for purpose. We were created so that only Jesus can quench this feeling of thirst in our souls. Jesus said in John chapter 4 that He is the only one who can give “Living Water.”
In this lesson, we will learn from the story of “The Woman At The Well.” We will learn that Jesus is the only One who can provide us with “The Living Water” that can TRANSFORM our lives!
The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly

Welcome to SLAM Online!
We tend to put people in categories. Some people we think are potential Christians. Others we label as “too far gone” and assume they will never give their lives to God. After all, they are just “too sinful.” We stop praying for them, witnessing to them, or even hoping for a change.
Many would have put the woman in today’s Bible Story in that http://category.in fact, Simon the Pharisee thought exactly that. But Jesus did not. When the woman came to pour perfume on Jesus and wipe His feet with her hair, Jesus welcomed her with open arms. Beyond that, He forgave her sins and changed her life.
In this lesson, the children will learn that no one is too bad or too far gone for God to forgive their sins. We should never give up on anyone. God doesn’t.
Leave It All Behind

Welcome to SLAM Online!
Some people feel like once they accept Jesus as their Savior and they are going to Heaven, they can just go right back to sinning and living for themselves. That’s not what Jesus taught us to do.
If we belong to Him, we are to REPENT. To repent means “to turn around and go the opposite direction.” That means that even though you once were headed your own way and sinning, when you repent, you turn around and head GOD’S way and start doing right. It doesn’t matter what you have done in the past; Jesus can TRANSFORM you into a brand new person.
In this lesson, the children are going to learn from the story of one of Jesus’ disciples, Matthew. When Matthew began following Jesus, he left his old life behind. His whole life was TRANSFORMED!
Drop The Rocks

Welcome to SLAM Online!
Today we are continuing our series called "Transformed!" We are learning to "drop the rocks."
Imagine your worst enemy was caught stealing and brought before the judge. What kind of sentence would you
be hoping for? More than likely, you would hope they would get a strong sentence so that they would learn their lesson, right?
Now, imagine that it is YOU who has been caught stealing and brought before the judge. What kind of sentence would you be hoping for? Most likely, you would be hoping for a lenient sentence, if not being totally let off.
Isn’t it interesting that when someone else is guilty, we want judgment, but when we are guilty, we want grace?
Jesus taught that each of us should be willing to give others the same grace that He gave us. Through the story of the woman caught in adultery, that is exactly what the children will learn about in this lesson.
FREEDOM!

Welcome to SLAM Online!
Sin is powerful. When we give into temptation and fall into sin, it can ultimately control our very lives. We can try with all of our might to break out of sin’s clutches, but without Jesus, it is impossible to do.
Many kids are bound by sinful habits, such as lying, disobeying, viewing inappropriate material, or playing video games that are filled with profanity and violence. These habits can do severe damage to their spiritual lives. They are completely impossible to break on their own.
Spiritual habits require a spiritual battle. In this lesson, the children will learn through the story of the demon-possessed man that when God sets you free, you are truly and completely free!
With God, NOTHING is impossible!
No Doubt!

Welcome to SLAM Online!
Thomas gets a bad rap. For many years, he was only known as “Doubting Thomas,” but he is not the only one to ever have doubts about Jesus.
If we are honest, we all struggle with doubts from time to time. Sadly, we choose to hide our doubts because we are ashamed and think they make us less of a Christian. In- stead, we should admit our doubts to God and ask Him to help us overcome them with faith.
In this lesson, the children will learn that it’s okay to have doubts. Jesus does not get angry when we doubt, but He does want to help us overcome our doubt and replace it with strong faith.
Remember - Jesus can TRANSFORM anyone - even those who have doubts! He will help get the doubt OUT and fill your life with strong faith.

We’ve all seen people who think that having nice cars, nice clothes, a nice house, and other expensive things make them just a little more important than the rest of us. That’s not an attitude that God is pleased with.
In fact, God says that we should not throw our love away on loving this world or the things of this world. We shouldn’t love money, possessions, popularity, power, or ANYTHING in this world.
Through the story of the Rich Young Ruler, the children will learn all about the damage that can be done when we love the things of this world. He ended up walking away from God because he loved his things way too much.
God is a jealous God. He wants ALL of your love - not SOME of your love. You must not “throw your love away” on the things of this world.
