Sometimes, we put people into groups. We look at some people and think they might become Christians one day. But for others, we think that they’re “lost causes” and that they’ll never decide to follow God. We might even believe they’re “too far off track”’ So we stop praying for them, telling them about God’s love, or even hoping that they could change.

Many people would have thought this about the thief who was on the cross next to Jesus. But Jesus didn’t. When the thief said that Jesus was the Savior, Jesus replied, “Today, you will be with Me in Heaven.” Even though the thief had done a lot of wrong things in his life, in his last moments, he was saved from his sins.

In this lesson, the kids will learn that no one is too bad or too lost for God to forgive them. It’s never too late for anyone to start following Jesus.

From Death To Life

Welcome to SLAM Online! This is a new series called "Transformed!" It is all about people who met Jesus face-to-face and walked away transformed! Jesus was a miracle worker. He began his earthly ministry by performing His first miracle of turning water into wine. From that point on, Jesus established Himself as someone with supernatural power beyond that of mortal human beings. Jesus didn’t stop performing miracles when His earthly ministry ended. No way! He continues to perform miracles today. In fact, He wants to perform miracles both in and through each one of us. All we have to do is trust and believe. Believing is the hardest part. Some- times it seems that there is just no way a miracle can happen because we believe it is “too late.” In this lesson, the children are going to learn through the story of Lazarus being raised that it is never too late for Jesus. Even when it seems all hope is lost, Jesus can show up and perform a miracle!

Living Water

Welcome to SLAM Online! Our bodies need water to survive. You can drink some water, but then – only a little while later – you’ll be thirsty again. Your body just can’t go very long without you getting that thirsty feeling. Our souls are like that, too. There’s a feeling that we get in our soul that’s a lot like being thirsty. It’s not thirst for liquid. It’s a thirst for meaning...for purpose. We were created so that only Jesus can quench this feeling of thirst in our souls. Jesus said in John chapter 4 that He is the only one who can give “Living Water.” In this lesson, we will learn from the story of “The Woman At The Well.” We will learn that Jesus is the only One who can provide us with “The Living Water” that can TRANSFORM our lives!

The Good, The Bad, & The Ugly

Welcome to SLAM Online! We tend to put people in categories. Some people we think are potential Christians. Others we label as “too far gone” and assume they will never give their lives to God. After all, they are just “too sinful.” We stop praying for them, witnessing to them, or even hoping for a change. Many would have put the woman in today’s Bible Story in that http://category.in fact, Simon the Pharisee thought exactly that. But Jesus did not. When the woman came to pour perfume on Jesus and wipe His feet with her hair, Jesus welcomed her with open arms. Beyond that, He forgave her sins and changed her life. In this lesson, the children will learn that no one is too bad or too far gone for God to forgive their sins. We should never give up on anyone. God doesn’t.
