In Judges 1 & 2, we see the dangers of forgetting God and the resulting spiral of apostasy that occurs. Conversely, we also see the blessing of following a God who is worth following.
In Judges 17 & 18, we see the continued spiritual decline of the people of God because they have no King, no ears to hear the Word of the Lord, no heart for God, and only misguided glory-seeking.
