In Judges chapters 15 & 16, we see Samson being consumed by vengeance and self-centeredness which ultimately leads to a great downfall of him going from Judge to jester.
In Judges 17 & 18, we see the continued spiritual decline of the people of God because they have no King, no ears to hear the Word of the Lord, no heart for God, and only misguided glory-seeking.
