The Name of God is somewhat of a mystery to people, but God gave his Name to Moses when He through the burning bush. Over time, The Name has now developed many variations, but we know for certain that the same God who spoke to Moses showed up as a man in the person of Yeshua – and through Yeshua, you can have a relationship with the Creator of the universe.

As we end Sukkot and this wonderful fall Holy Day season, we finish our series on the Shema with the question: what does it mean to "love God with all of our muchness?" Nephesh, in Hebrew, is often translated as "soul" in English translations of the Bible going back to the King James Version in 1611. Nephesh doesn't really mean "soul" but rather literally "throat," and actually refers to our "being" in connection to our physical bodies.
