April 14, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 1:1–14
Join us this Sunday for the opening of our spring/summer series, "Seasons", a study in the book of Ecclesiastes. This series will help us recognize how we might be wasting our energy in futile pursuits and point us to the things that bring us purpose and meaning. It should be a study with a lot of practical application, and even some fun as well.
Chasing the Wind
April 21, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 1:12–18
We all find ourselves in different seasons of life, and we often don't understand how we got there or what we should do while going through a difficult one. This series is helping us learn how we can best trust God and walk in the fear of the Lord as we navigate the challenges of whatever season we find ourselves in.
Enjoy Yourself
April 28, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 2:1–11
This week, Solomon will test his heart by indulging in every form of pleasure available to see whether there is any satisfaction to be found in them. What he discovers will provide insight into the folly of selfish indulgence vs. living a life of generosity toward others. Through his experience, we can gain wisdom in how to ensure our earthly pursuits are aligned to God's will.
All My Toil
May 5, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 2:12–26
Join us this Sunday as we continue in chapter 2 of Ecclesiastes. Last week, we saw how Solomon chose to pursue every earthly pleasure and discovered the emptiness of selfish indulgence vs. living a life of giving generosity to others.
This week, he debates the futility of working to merely accumulate wealth and possessions, knowing he must eventually leave it all to someone who may squander it. From his experience, we learn that true contentment comes from recognizing that work is a gift from God that can bring joy and meaning when done to His glory.
Time is Seasonal
May 12, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 3:1–15
We've come to that famous passage in our Ecclesiastes studies that nearly everyone has heard of at one time or another. A certain familiar tune might even be running through your mind. "To every thing -- turn, turn, turn -- there is a season -- turn, turn, turn . . ."
By now, we all recognize that life is a series of seasons. As we celebrate our moms this Mother’s Day, we will reflect on the various seasons of not only a mother’s life, but those that affect families and individuals as well, and we will see that God has ordained them all.

May 19, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 3:16–22, Ecclesiastes 4

Let My Words
May 26, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 5:1–7
We’ve all said something we regret. Why the regret? Because we know our words are powerful. They can both wound and heal.
In the season of life you find yourself in, have you been more careless or more careful with your words? Are they an encouragement or discouragement to others?
When Goods Increase
June 9, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 5:8–20
This Sunday, we will return to the book of Ecclesiastes and gain wisdom on how to view our money.
Join us this week in our "SEASONS" series as we learn the secret of how to GET along with little, and how to live graciously with much.
Like a Shadow
June 16, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 6
Have you ever noticed the closer an object is to a light source, the bigger the shadow that is cast will be? The size and angle of the shadow is directly related to its proximity to the light source. In fact, an object cannot cast a shadow without a light source.
Shadows play a fascinating role in our everyday lives, adding depth, mystery, and even a touch of magic to the world around us. They create a captivating contrast between light and darkness.
As we move into Ecclesiastes chapter 6, we will leverage this concept as we honor our fathers this Sunday. How can fathers cast a godly shadow over their children, whether the sun is still high in the sky or approaching twilight?

Scheme of a Thing
June 30, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 7:19–29
“I searched with wisdom the scheme of things.” It’s as if Solomon knew there was an enemy behind the evil he saw under the sun, and he desperately desired to uncover his schemes.
In this Sunday’s sermon, we will look to expose those schemes and consider what steps we can take to not fall for the traps of the evil one.

The King's Command
July 28, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 8
This Sunday, Solomon will call into question the trustworthiness of the authorities "under the sun". Have you ever found yourself in a season of life under an authority you struggled to submit to?
Whatever!
August 4, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 9
Have you ever felt helpless? Have your circumstances ever spiraled so far out of control you responded in despair with, “whatever?” Life is unpredictable . . . no one knows what lies ahead.
What if God's will for you in this season is to do “whatever” he asks of you?
In one of the more uplifting chapters of the book of Ecclesiastes, this week we will learn the wisdom and reward of refusing to quit.
If you are in a season of discouragement, this Sunday will be a good reminder to “keep on casting your bread upon the water” and learning the power patience, diligence and, most importantly, perseverance can have in the Christian walk.
