All My Toil

Season: Part 4

May 5, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 2:12–26

Join us this Sunday as we continue in chapter 2 of Ecclesiastes. Last week, we saw how Solomon chose to pursue every earthly pleasure and discovered the emptiness of selfish indulgence vs. living a life of giving generosity to others.

This week, he debates the futility of working to merely accumulate wealth and possessions, knowing he must eventually leave it all to someone who may squander it. From his experience, we learn that true contentment comes from recognizing that work is a gift from God that can bring joy and meaning when done to His glory.

This week, we continue in chapter 3 and head into 4 this week of Ecclesiastes. We’ll discuss what a “Lot” is and how we can walk through this life with the encouragement of others in Christ.

May 12, 2024 • Chris Heller • Ecclesiastes 3:1–15

"To every thing -- turn, turn, turn -- there is a season -- turn, turn, turn . . ." By now, we all recognize that life is a series of seasons. As we celebrate our moms this Mother’s Day, we will reflect on the various seasons of not only a mother’s life, but those that affect families and individuals as well, and we will see that God has ordained them all.
