We’ve all said something we regret. Why the regret? Because we know our words are powerful. They can both wound and heal. In the season of life you find yourself in, have you been more careless or more careful with your words? Are they an encouragement or discouragement to others?
We've come to that famous passage in our Ecclesiastes studies that nearly everyone has heard of at one time or another. A certain familiar tune might even be running through your mind. "To every thing -- turn, turn, turn -- there is a season -- turn, turn, turn . . ." By now, we all recognize that life is a series of seasons. As we celebrate our moms this Mother’s Day, we will reflect on the various seasons of not only a mother’s life, but those that affect families and individuals as well, and we will see that God has ordained them all.
