"Message to the Hopeful" Part 2

September 22, 2024 • Sr. Pastor Travis M. Tullis • Matthew 16:16–19, Ephesians 6:12–16, Colossians 1:27, Colossians 2:14–15, 1 John 3:8

Jesus came to destroy the enemy's works; therefore, as members of the Kingdom of Light, we are empowered and equipped to walk in His love through hope and can experience victory through Christ Jesus.

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis now shares a 'Message to the Hopeful' through scriptures Matthew 16:16-19, Ephesians 6:12-16, Colossians 1:27, 2:14-15 and 1 John 3:8, 4:4-5.

Our mindset cannot be contrary to the Kingdom of Light. But sometimes, we walk in darkness and strive against one another instead of walking in the Kingdom of Light and fighting the enemy together. Ephesians 6:12-13 says, "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand." Each of us, as part of the Kingdom of Light, has a crucial role to play in this fight.

Meanwhile, the love of Jesus empowers us to forgive, and the Word of God, our guide and source of knowledge, equips us to stand against the kingdom of darkness. Therefore, we can experience true victory in Christ Jesus together as believers. This knowledge shows us how to gather, encourage, and strengthen those who are hopeful for God's blessings. Every blessing is by God's spirit, and we can be empowered and equipped to continue to experience His victory.

Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher by reminding us that we have victory in Jesus and are empowered and equipped to become the children of light in a dark world.
