"Between Faith & Promise" Part 2

October 20, 2024 • Sr. Pastor Travis M. Tullis • 1 Corinthians 10:1–13, Philippians 4:11–13

1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it."

Senior Pastor Travis Tullis reminds us that God does not put more on us than we can bear. Focus scriptures are 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 and Philippians 4:11-13.

The enemy may tempt us, but God gives us His power to resist all temptation through Jesus Christ. The power of Jesus's resurrection works in us to resist all temptation from the enemy.

When we are between faith and God's promises, there will be tests thrown our way, but we can endure these challenges with Jesus Christ. This allows us to learn how to depend on God by believing in Him, which makes us confident in His ability and thankful for the blessings He continues to bring into our lives.

Thank you, Senior Pastor Tullis, for leading us forward and higher together by letting us know that we must continue to be humble while seeking God in order to be ready to receive His promises.
