In today’s special Mother’s Day message, we dive into the world of Proverbs 31. In this classic text of Scripture, the writer strings together different colored jewels that showcase the excellent woman. Indeed, the Proverbs 31 woman isn’t written as an argument for excellence, but is rather a poetic acrostic describing excellence. It’s as if the writer (a woman herself) is saying, “Listen! This is what makes an excellent woman. Find a woman like this. Here is a portrait of excellence!” So, what is a woman of excellence? What does she look like? Let’s find out together in Proverbs 31!
