In today’s message, we’ll continue the story line of Jesus through Matthew’s Gospel account. As we do, we’ll see that with the arrival of Jesus everything changed. How one approached God, related to God, and worshiped God would all be different now that Jesus had come. However, some people in Jesus’ day wanted to mesh their old system of Judaism with the new system that Christ was bringing about. Jesus makes it abundantly clear that to do so is unwise and results in the destruction of His system of grace and truth. It’s outwith the old and in with the new! Today’s message will be difficult to track at times, but rewarding for those who truly listen.
