In today’s message, we come upon a dazzling scene that is both breathtaking and bewildering. In Matthew 17:1-13, Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up on a high mountain and is transformed in front of them to the point that He begins to glow while Moses and Elijah appear at His side. This scene is so amazing that Peter says something ridiculous and then is cut off by God Himself who speaks from a cloud. Crazy, huh? But what in the world happened in this event? Why is it so important? And, very practically, how does this event help us and shape us to-day? Join us as we answer these questions and more as we dive into Message #58, “Transfigured”.
