We won’t be able to fully pursue God until we acknowledge the places we’re afraid. In this sermon, Pastor Allen Jackson helps us recognize fear and how it can immobilize us and prevent us from growing in our faith. We need God’s help to overcome our fears. Pastor Allen offers scripture to help us recognize that fear is a normal reaction. Afterall, it’s common for God to ask His people to venture into places that feel uncertain, because then we are reliant on Him for the outcomes—not ourselves. Surrendering our fears to God and choosing to trust Him is something we must do on a regular basis. Jesus was dependent upon the Father to complete His assignment—and so are we!

In this 2024 National Day of Prayer celebration, Pastor Allen leads the congregation through prayers for ourselves, our leaders, our nation, and our world. “Your role in this is mission critical,” Pastor Allen said. “We're asking the Creator of all things to engage with us in impacting our generation. That's a tremendous privilege!” Let’s be diligent to ask for God’s mercy, grace, and blessings upon our nation.
