Today we pick up our Systematic Theology Series once again as we begin a new study of Ecclesiology ~ the study of the Doctrine of the New Testament Church.
Pastor Mark Geer introduces the topic today with an exploration of the importance of teaching on this doctrine of the Establishment of the New Testament Church and the historical development of the concept of the Church both prophetically and historically. We explore God’s work and redemptive plan that began in the Old Testament and culminated in the New Testament.
Pastor Mark also discussed the origin or birthday of the church on the Day of Pentecost and the value of understanding the meaning of the word “Church” (ekklesia) and how we can more fully appreciate, identify with, and find our place in the Body of Christ.
Our desire for this broader study of Systematic Theology for Daily Living is to take a practical look at the study of God and various elements of biblical and spiritual truth which are designed to help us all understand God and draw us nearer to Him as our Creator and to Jesus Christ as our Savior.
