We focus on our failures, our inadequacies, and our missed opportunities. Just like Peter, that rooster keeps crowing at us reminding us of how bad we messed up. But we need to remember that our identity isn’t found where and when we have failed, but in Christ. And with identity comes purpose.

Look Through the Resurrection

Fear can cause you to miss the fact that Jesus is risen… that He reigns and His promises are guaranteed. We just have to start looking Through the Resurrection. You might not see the victory coming that He promised you, but every promise can be trusted because Jesus backed up the promise of the resurrection.

Swept Away!

Sometimes we spend all of our time fighting the cultural current only to realize we have been swept up in it and can’t even see Jesus anymore. As long as you are willing to follow Jesus, it is impossible for you to get swept away.
