Fear can cause you to miss the fact that Jesus is risen… that He reigns and His promises are guaranteed. We just have to start looking Through the Resurrection. You might not see the victory coming that He promised you, but every promise can be trusted because Jesus backed up the promise of the resurrection.
Good Enough to Lose

Jesus was good enough to Lose! He wasn’t defeated, he wasn’t murdered, he laid his life down on the cross. There are going to be times that we are called to do what goes against our nature… and deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow Him. And that means sometimes he leads us to those places where we have to be good enough to lose.
Failure, Fisherman, or Follower

We focus on our failures, our inadequacies, and our missed opportunities. Just like Peter, that rooster keeps crowing at us reminding us of how bad we messed up. But we need to remember that our identity isn’t found where and when we have failed, but in Christ. And with identity comes purpose.
A Seat At The Table

Just like the disciples brought the filth of their world into the upper room on their dusty, sandaled feet, many times, we approach our own ‘upper room’ experience with Jesus … buried in our own filth. And just like Jesus needed to clean the mud off the disciple’s feet as they approached their seat at the table that night, Jesus offers that same cleansing to us today.
