You might not see the victory coming that He promised you, but every promise can be trusted because Jesus backed up the promise of the resurrection.

Sometimes we spend all of our time fighting the cultural current only to realize we have been swept up in it and can’t even see Jesus anymore. As long as you are willing to follow Jesus, it is impossible for you to get swept away.

Good Enough to Lose

Jesus was good enough to Lose! He wasn’t defeated, he wasn’t murdered, he laid his life down on the cross. There are going to be times that we are called to do what goes against our nature… and deny ourselves and take up our cross and follow Him. And that means sometimes he leads us to those places where we have to be good enough to lose.
