In Ruth 4, Boaz goes to the town gate to publicly redeem Ruth. Because Boaz redeemed Ruth, she ended up with a life far beyond what she could imagine – even becoming the great grandmother of King David and landing in the lineage of Jesus Christ! As we see the sacrifices Boaz made for Ruth and his public pursuit of her, we are reminded of how Christ has redeemed us! Pastor Doug finishes our series in Ruth with this message titled, "Redemption".
