The Power of Your Faith: Believing It's Going to Work Out

1st Samuel 17: 45-47 (Read the Entire Chapter)

Often times in life we QUIT way too soon because we suffer from a serious case of DOUBT! We feel as if we don't have what it takes to conquer that which is before us. As a consequence, we may have missed many potential victories in our lives because we were intimidated by an obstacle (person, business venture, promotion, etc.) that appeared to be out of our realm. When God has opened a door for us to move forward, we have to BELIEVE the BEST in spite of what seems to be the WORSE. This is what our lesson is about today. David was faced with Goliath the giant, but in spite of the perceived obstacle, he went forth in faith and came out a VICTOR instead of a VICTIM!

Likewise, God desires you to know that you don't have to be afraid of your FUTURE, because whatever He has for you, if you just go forth in FAITH, and believe in Him and HIs sovereignty, you will know that it will work out for your good. Faith doesn't mean that it will work out in the way you desire, but it means that you trust the Lord to guide you so that it can work out according to His will, which is ultimately for your good.
