It is quite tempting to look at current events and try to determine if we truly are living in the "end times" as described in the Bible. This message provides a healthy framework for how to view this topic Biblically and practically.

Too often we see Biblical characters as larger than life "holy people" that have ascended into a place of spiritual certainty. But in actuality, the Bible portrays them quite different from our expectations, revealing their fears, uncertainty and doubts. For 40 days, Jesus intentionally appeared to people following His death, so that they could verify with their own eyes that he was in fact alive. This message will explore this mysterious in between time by focusing on the famously known "doubting disciple", Thomas.

To the astonished bewilderment of the disciples and even to us today, three days after the brutal execution and death of Jesus, He physically rose from the dead. The implications of His resurrection are vast and powerfully relevant to us today. The empty tomb is a sign to us all that a new kingdom age has been inaugurated in the both here and the now. Jesus brought the pristine glory of a distant future new creation into our present lives, inviting and empowering us to live as new creation citizens. By the power of the Holy Spirit we bring the self-sacrificial love of Jesus Himself into this weary old creation, until death itself is completely eradicated through our future resurrected bodies!

"My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" Spoken by Jesus on the cross. To the Pharisees, it validated their claim that Jesus was guilty of blasphemy, finally having an epiphany in the throws of death. To everyone else, it was directing them to a well known Messianic Psalm, revealing that Jesus was in full & complete control of that moment, fulfilling that thousand year old prophecy. This message covers this event, that has quite often been used as way to prove that God poured out His wrath upon Jesus at the cross. A perspective that proclaims Jesus saved http://us...from God Himself. But wasn't God IN CHRIST at the cross? Get inspired and gain new confidence that God will never leave nor forsake YOU!
