"My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" Spoken by Jesus on the cross.
To the Pharisees, it validated their claim that Jesus was guilty of blasphemy, finally having an epiphany in the throws of death.
To everyone else, it was directing them to a well known Messianic Psalm, revealing that Jesus was in full & complete control of that moment, fulfilling that thousand year old prophecy.
This message covers this event, that has quite often been used as way to prove that God poured out His wrath upon Jesus at the cross. A perspective that proclaims Jesus saved us...from God Himself. But wasn't God IN CHRIST at the cross? Get inspired and gain new confidence that God will never leave nor forsake YOU!
