To the astonished bewilderment of the disciples and even to us today, three days after the brutal execution and death of Jesus, He physically rose from the dead. The implications of His resurrection are vast and powerfully relevant to us today.

The empty tomb is a sign to us all that a new kingdom age has been inaugurated in the both here and the now. Jesus brought the pristine glory of a distant future new creation into our present lives, inviting and empowering us to live as new creation citizens. By the power of the Holy Spirit we bring the self-sacrificial love of Jesus Himself into this weary old creation, until death itself is completely eradicated through our future resurrected bodies!
