Our kids are experiencing the stress of “cancel culture” from all ideological sides; they need the help of adults in their lives to live faithfully in the midst of this. Living the life as a called Christian means that we are to not only share the message of Jesus but live like we believe it, even at the risk of being "cancelled."

Beyond Sunday Mornings

Today's message incorporates research on Generation Alpha and previous generations, addressing their concerns about hypocrisy, irrelevance, and the need for authenticity. We will speak to how the church can become more relevant and responsive to the values and needs of these younger generations (without compromising the Gospel), focusing on living out faith through tangible service. In addition to our Missions offering, we will collect a special offering for the WSOY Community Food Drive.

Loneliness - Baptism Sunday

How can it be that we live in the most connected time in history, yet we are lonelier than ever before? The past few years have only deepened the loneliness crisis. Cigna research from 2021 shows that loneliness has hit the younger generation harder than any other, with nearly 80% of adults aged 18–24 reporting feelings of loneliness—double that of seniors. This problem was heightened by the isolation during the COVID-19 pandemic, but even years later, many people remain disconnected. Today, we’ll explore why this generation feels so alone and how Scripture speaks into this reality. Also, it is Baptism Sunday!

Peer Pressure
