CarePortal

CarePortal is a new ministry partnership that we are entering into with Arkansas Family Alliance. It will allow you to see and meet real needs of children as they are vetted and made available by social workers and school counselors. There is no obligation, but if you have the opportunity to meet a need - you are able to do so. Get signed up for CarePortal now. We will be launching this the first of June.


On June 2nd, we will be hosting a free lunch to train everyone in how to use CarePortal. Matt Whitson with the Arkansas Family Alliance will be with us to do the training. He said it would only take about an hour as we eat. You are welcome to bring your children along for the meal.


You do not have to be at the lunch to sign up for CarePortal. We will provide some online training at a later date.

Our Disaster Relief chainsaw crews have been called up to work the damage done in Northwest Arkansas. We have two opportunities for you. Monday, June 3 - Don Lehman will be leading a crew up to NWA to work next week. The base of operation will be Elmdale Baptist Church. We are still working on the details of what time and when this crew will leave and return. It will probably be leaving sometime on Monday morning and returning home sometime on Friday or Saturday. Sunday, June 9 - Scott Ward will be leading a crew to NWA. We will leave sometime Sunday evening and return the next Saturday.

Throughout the month of June we will be doing a food drive for the Helping Hand Ministry. Our Children's Ministry will be setting up a lemonade stand in Guest Services. We want to encourage you to come by and "purchase" an ice-cold cup of lemonade with a food or monetary donation. This is a great way to add some fun to our food drive and to allow our children to see what it means to be a generous and cheerful giver! Food Items Needed: (all can goods need to be the 15oz size) Crackers (box) | Peanut butter (small) | Corn | Green beans | Mixed vegetables | Carrots | Spaghetti | Spaghetti sauce | Soup (any type of soup) | Noodles | Pinto beans | Mac and cheese | Jiffy Cornbread | Jiffy Muffin mix | Jiffy Biscuit mix | Hamburger Helper | Rice | Cereal | Pancake mix | Oatmeal | Pancake Syrup – 12 ounces

We will be providing and serving desserts and/or snacks before and after the National Police Officers Memorial Ceremony which will be held on Thursday, May 16th, at 7pm at the Sebastian County Circuit Court - front courtyard area. Please deliver your food around 6:30pm and stay to enjoy the ceremony, support the families of our fallen officers, and honor our first responders. Sign up to either serve or bring a dessert. Our church will provide coffee and lemonade.
