If you give to our church, you might know that a percentage of every dollar you give goes to the Cooperative Program (CP) of the Southern Baptist Convention. The CP is used to fund different entities. One of these entities is the International Mission Board (IMB) which is tasked to send out missionaries from our churches to reach the world for Christ. They have begun a new program called Project 3000 (www.imb.org/project-3000). This project's goal is to send out over 300 missionary explorers to research the last remaining 3000 people groups in the world that are unreached and unengaged.
