The Gift of Presence

The incarnation, God’s Son coming to earth as one of us, demonstrates what great lengths God will go to in order to be involved with his creation and to be fully present. God is not distant or aloof, God has made his intention of presence known through the incarnation. It is important for our lives as Christmas quickly approaches to consider the life-changing implications of the incarnation.

The Gift of Purpose

God’s people have been given a purpose. A continuous storyline of the Bible is that those who experienced God in a mighty way were those who were willing to take steps to seek God, take a risk, and go where God commanded, giving them a purpose for their lives. And we don’t fulfill this purpose alone—God is with us!
