The third sign miracle Jesus performed focuses on the issue of time. For 38 years, a man had been plagued by an illness that had left him unable to walk. Imagine the disappointment he must have experienced time after time when the angel stirred up the pool, but always he had arrived too late to experience healing. Yet Jesus healed him and immediately he was able to walk. Jesus showed Himself to be the master of time.
