When you get sick you call a _____. When your house is on fire you call the _____. When your life is falling apart, your kids are acting crazy, life is just a mess and you need prayer... Who do you call?
We know who to call or reach out to for a lot of things. In other situations our community is not prepared for the tough situations in life. God has a different plan. God is allowing trials and adversity into our lives. But, until we acknowledge our adversity and pain, until we admit it’s happening to us and acknowledge what it is and why it’s happening, we won’t go anywhere. If we’re going to become a resilient person, we have to name the pain! As we’ll see today, we have to confess our pain in order to begin the journey of healing and resilience in the face of whatever comes.
