Romans 13 began looking at how followers of Jesus could be good citizens and good neighbors. Now he turns to why they should live these ways by pointing to a particular day in the future, sometimes called The Day of the LORD in the Bible. What does this “day” mean, and why does it matter for why Christians are to live and love the way Jesus calls them to do? We’ll explore that question today.
