Sacrifices
February 11, 2018
As we conclude our This is the Bible series this week, we’re taking a second week to talk about the “bloody” Bible and looking specifically at sacrifices. Be sure to tuck the included bookmark away in your Bible for future use.
How to Read It
January 7, 2018
Almost 90% of America owns a Bible. The average American household has at least four Bibles, but half of the population has never read it or has seldom done so. Almost one in five churchgoers say they never read the Bible - essentially the same number who read it every day. So, as a church, we thought it would be a good time to talk about How to Read the Bible.
How to Understand It
December 31, 2017
Happy New Year! We’re kicking off the New Year with a message series titled This is the Bible. Pastor John shares some basic but foundational thoughts about the Bible while attempting to answer the questions, “How do we understand the Bible?” Is it necessary to believe in what the Bible says to be a Christian? Can I trust Christ but reject the Bible?
