James’ words summarize the focus of today’s message: Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. (James 1:22) Beyond the challenge of reading the Bible is the challenge to apply it. How do we do this? May the Holy Spirit open our ears and hearts to hear from Jesus today.
