Into the Deep

Luke 5:1-11

April 11, 2021 • Pastor Dominic Done

Hellen Keller once wrote, “Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.” One of the key moments in life is when you realize the desires God has put in you are more important than the fear that shouts at you. Yes, the fear is real: the fear of failure, of what others think, of an unknown future…But deep down, you know you can’t remain dormant or passive. You need to step out in faith, trust the Lord, and say “yes” to his best for your life. Join us as we look at Scripture to see what steps of faith look like, how to take them, and how to grow into our calling.

I grew up on the book The Little Prince. In it, the main character learns a lot about what is essential in life. One of the characters in the book shares a wonderful insight, when he states: “Here is my secret, It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.” The prophet Micah shares God’s criteria for essential living. Join us as we discover God’s plan for a truly rich life.
