THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO BRING GOOD NEWS TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD. Luke 4:18-19 (NASB)

Brood on Luke 4:18-19 for 5 minutes by praying in the Spirit while holding that Bible verse in mind.

Also, repeat these meditatively for 10 minutes:

I BIND MYSELF TO THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST AND ALL HE CAME TO ACCOMPLISH. THE SPIRIT OF GRACE AND TRUTH FINDS EXPRESSION THROUGH ME.

Be still for 5 minutes.

PHILIPPIANS 4:8 (NASB) Ponder and brood on Philippians 4:8 by praying in the Spirit while holding that scripture in mind. Meditate by repeating these several times throughout the day: I HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST. I THINK ABOUT WHAT IS TRUE, HONORABLE, RIGHT, PURE, LOVELY, COMMENDABLE, EXCELLENT, AND PRAISEWORTHY.
